Scriptures to help build your prayer faith.
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
The Model Prayer:
"Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, 'Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.' So He said to them, 'When you pray, say Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us day by day our daily bread, and forvive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us, and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.' "
Luke 11:1-4
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 19"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live! 20 Choose to love the LORD your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. Then you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
Matthew 21:21 "Then Jesus told them, 'I assure you, if you have faith and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, 'May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and it will happen.
Mark 11:23-24 23"I assure you that you can say to this mountain, 'May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart. 24Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it.
Romans 4:17-20 17"That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, 'I have made you the father of many nations.' This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who brings into existence what didn't exist before. 18When God promised Abraham that he would become the father of many nations, Abraham believed him. God had also said, 'Your descendants will be as numerous as the stars," even though such a promise seemed utterly impossible! 19And Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though he knew that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred and that Sarah, his wife, had never been able to have children. 20Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.
Ephesians 6:10-18a 10"A final word: Be strong with the Lord's mighty power. 11Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil. 12For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms. 13Use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. 15For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. 16In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. 17Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit..."
Philippians 4:6-7 6"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
II Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."
Hebrews 10:23 "Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise."
Isaiah 41:10 "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."
Matthew 18:18-19 18"I tell you this: Whatever you prohibit on earth is prohibited in heaven, and whatever you allow on earth is allowed in heaven. 19I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you."
Hebrews 10:35 "Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you!"
Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
I John 3:21-22 21"Dear friends, if our conscience is clear, we can come to God with bold confidence. 22And we will receive whatever we request because we obey him and do the things that please him."
The curse under the law: Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed. (Deuteronomy 28:61)
The blessing through Jesus Christ: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree)." (Galations 3:13)
So, the disease that is plaguing my body is part of the curse. Now, pray (like medicine - take regularly) over that area of sickness and claim that Jesus Christ has redeemed my body (every part, inside and out) and the sickness can no longer reside in this body. I am redeemed, redeemed, redeemed. I am not under the curse, because all of me has been redeemed through Christ. Amen! This is spiritual medicine, take it until I see the manifestation - be diligent! Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37)
