CONTRIBUTIONS STATEMENTS
Contribution statements for 2011 are now ready. They can be picked up from Donna after service today in the back of the sanctuary.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Our Wednesday night service begins at 6:45 with praise and worship in the sanctuary. We will then dismiss into the following new classes:
• "The Bride Wears Combat Boots" Spiritual warfare is real, and yet so many Christians don't have a clue about who Satan is, or how to fight him successfully. God has given us the weapons to walk in victory, so let's learn how to use them.
• “Conquering Your Flesh” – taught by Linda Thornton, the Meeting Room. This class will focus on getting rid of worldly baggage and fleshly desires in order to have a closer walk with the Lord.
• “Young Adult Ministry” – led by Neal & Michelle Wells, Room 206
• “Youth” – led by Sierra Spears in Room 208 • “Children” – led by Katie Burge in Room 209
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Today, we will be visiting and ministering at Westwood Retirement Center at 3pm. This will be a great opportunity to minister to and share God's love with the sick, shut-in, lonely, lost and downtrodden. Please join us at the center and help us be God's hands extended to these precious ones. For more information, contact Tony Thompson at 664-7555.
FIRM FOUNDATIONS CLASS
The Firm Foundations class meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 in the meeting room. If you are a new Christian and would like to learn more of the foundational principles of God's Word or, if you are a seasoned Christian who would like to affirm the basics as you move forward, this class is for you. Some of the topics that will be covered are: Salvation, Water Baptism, the Person and Power of the Holy Spirit, Prayer, Faith, the Believer's Authority, How to Study the Bible, Spiritual Warfare, and more. This comprehensive class is taught by Rob Harrell and is open to all who would like to attend. For more information, see Rob or call the office.
