Dr. Charles Gaulden – Guest Minister in March
Next Sunday, March 4, Dr. Charles Gaulden will be our very special guest speaker. Dr. Gaulden is a professor at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. He completed his first doctorate from Erskine Seminary and has also completed a post-doctoral degree in advanced biblical languages. He recently finished work on a PhD in Near East Studies from the University of Wales. Dr. Gaulden has studied Hebrew, Greek, Egyptian, Aramaic, and Phoenician. He pastored for thirty years in South Carolina and was a student favorite as a professor at
Christian Life School of Theology. You will truly be blessed by the ministry of
Dr. Gaulden, so be sure to be here and bring a friend!
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Today, we will be visiting and ministering at the Emerald Coast Rehab Center at 3pm. This will be a great opportunity to minister to and share God's love with the sick, shut-in, lonely, lost and downtrodden. Please join us at the center and help us be God's hands extended to these precious ones. For more information, contact Tony Thompson at 664-7555.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS – NEW CLASSES
Our Wednesday night service begins at 6:45 with praise and worship in the sanctuary. We will then dismiss into the following new classes:
• "The Bride Wears Combat Boots" – taught by Lonnette Harrell in the Crossroads Coffeehouse. The series continues as we study angels, demons, entry-ways for the demonic, and deliverance. You can join us at anytime, as we learn how to walk in freedom and victory over the enemy!
• “Homeward Bound” – taught by Linda Thornton in the Meeting Room. This class examines h ow are we to live by laws of God and not men; sowing seed, reaping harvest, and being fruitful until we get home.
• “Young Adult Ministry” – led by Neal & Michelle Wells, Prayer Room
• “Youth” – led by Sierra Spears in Room 208
• “Children” – led by Katie Burge in Room 209
FIRM FOUNDATIONS CLASS
The Firm Foundations class meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 in the meeting room. If you are a new Christian and would like to learn more of the foundational principles of God's Word or, if you are a seasoned Christian who would like to affirm the basics as you move forward, this class is for you. Some of the topics that will be covered are: Salvation, Water Baptism, the Person and Power of the Holy Spirit, Prayer, Faith, the Believer's Authority, How to Study the Bible, Spiritual Warfare, and more. This comprehensive class is taught by Rob Harrell and is open to all who would like to attend. For more information, see Rob or call the office.
CROSSROADS COFFEEHOUSE
Everyone is invited to the Crossroads Coffeehouse which is open every Friday night from 7pm until…. Come and bring your family and invite your friends for a night of family-friendly live music by Rob and Lonnette in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere with a touch of elegance. There will be free gourmet coffee, sodas, desserts and popcorn. Board games, books and free Wi-Fi are also available. Crossroads Coffeehouse is open to the entire community, and is for all ages.
